Weekend in Winner
We hit the road Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with Dustin's family.
Shortly after we got on the Interstate, Preston was asleep.
This lasted about 40 minutes and then he decided that was enough of a nap.
We made a stop at Cabela's on the way to Winner so Dustin could cash in on some gift cards. Preston got a kick out of the fish and all the big animals. He really liked this ATV-thing!
Grandma and Grandpa Beringer bought Preston a t-ball set the last time they were home, but it never made it up to Brookings. Much to Preston's delight, it was waiting for him in Winner!
Grandma wanted a turn too!
Preston might have a future in baseball (or at least his Dad hopes so!). He had a pretty darn good hit on his first try!
Happy Birthday Grandma!
Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party for Dustin's Grandma Donna (Cindy's mom), who recently turned 80. We had most of the family there to celebrate and the Legion was filled with tons of her friends that afternoon.

Cake and cupcakes courtesy of Aunt Jackie (delicious!)

Donna with her kids: Cindy (Jeff), Jackie (Larry), Jim (Tammy) and Bruce's wife, Liz. Bruce wasn't able to make it ... I'm really looking forward to being able to meet him someday! :-)
Donna with the grandchildren (some of them anyway) and a couple great-grandchildren
Dustin, Preston and myself, Bayley and Tyler (Jim and Tammy) and Bryan's wife Jessica with their son, Cyrus
I lost count of how many pictures were taken of all of us, trying to get Preston to cooperate.
Preston and Cyrus
Preston was having some serious conversations with his grandfathers, but it turned to the lighter side when they decided to be race car drivers.
Grandma is so funny!
Love those cupcakes!!
We had such a great weekend, as we always do when spending time with family, and look forward to seeing everyone again soon!!
