A Super Birthday For a Super Boy!

My parents graciously opened their house to us last night to celebrate Preston's 4th birthday. We're still a year or two away from friend parties (hopefully - I don't know if I'm ready for those!), so this one was celebrated with just our family.

When asked what he wanted on his cake this year, Preston said Captain America (and Batman, and Spiderman, and The Incredible Hulk ...). He said Captain America the most, so Captain America he got! Thanks Mom - the cake was really good and looked awesome!

Bumblebee from Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Bjerke, Hulk smash gloves from the Hofers, a cool SDSU sweatshirt and a Super Hero Squad computer from Grandma and Grandpa Bjerke - Captain America from the cake was also his for the taking. He talks and can throw his shield. It's pretty cool.
Preston LOVES all his presents. Thank you all so much!!

We all had such a great time last night and are so thankful for our wonderful family that shared in this celebration.

The celebrating isn't over yet ...
Preston gets ANOTHER party next weekend with the Beringers. He's so excited.
Four parties for four years (daycare, Preschool, the Bjerkes and the Beringers). I don't know if I'm up for five parties for five years, six parties for six years ...  :)
