Disappointing
Maybe painful is a better word. Today marked the kick-off to the NFL season and my Chiefs were down in Houston to take on the Texans. A game they should have won. A game they could have won ... if they didn't suck. Missed field goals. Turnovers. Final score: 20-3. Are you kidding me?!?! I realize that this is the first game of the season and that there are plenty of opportunities ahead to turn this around ... It was not a great start.

I will go with you on both words...Disappointing and Painful. Remember I am a Bears fan. I have to wonder sometimes why I even like to watch the game.
Oh Shel ... this Sunday, 3:15, Dustin and I have NFL Sunday Ticket and the Chiefs are at Chicago ...
I heard something on the radio the other day and it made me think of you. The ESPN guy was talking about how horrible the Chiefs are but the wonderful thing about that team is that no other football team has the fans like they do in Kansas. Win or lose, they'll always wear red. So hold you're chin up and be ready for next season :) Hope things are going well in So. Dak!
